2012 Wedding Color Trends - Inspired by New York Fashion Week 2011

Each season, Pantone surveys the designers of New York Fashion Week to identify the most directional colors for the upcoming Spring season.    The Top 10 colors chosen for Spring 2012 and sure to make their way into wedding color palettes are:

Tangerine Tango is an enticing juicy orange capable of enlivening anyone's outlook.   Solar Power is a vibrant yellow that radiates warmth and cheer.

Bellflower is a distinct ornamental purple exuding uniqueness and creativity.   Cabaret is a sensual and intense rosy-red.    Sodalite Blue, a classic navy-like hue suggesting order and calmness, works with every color in the palette.

Margarita, an exciting yellow-green, is refreshing and reminiscent of a spring garden.   Sweet Lilac is a delicate pinkish lilac that adds a touch of romance.   Cockatoo is a whimsical blue-green, sure to make spirits soar.

The versatile neutrals in this palette are Driftwood, an adaptable blend of beige and gray and Starfish, a perfect warm summer neutral.   These two neutrals, along with Sodalite Blue, complement all of the colors in this season’s top 10.

Bridal Fascinators - Bye, Bye Veil?

If you're a traditional bride and can't imagine your wedding dress without a veil, the bridal fascinators available today could make you think twice.   A fascinator is a hair accessory that's worn to the side (usually) and is often made of feathers, flowers, or wisps of fabric.
