No matter how elaborate your decorating plans, at a minimum your cake table should have: cake napkins, cake serving set, plates and/or cake bags/boxes. These items can be set out close to serving time if you choose but if they complement the style or color of your cake and there's room, why not let them add to the overall decorating scheme?
